Martin Rouland

Martin Rouland, age 68, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at AdventHealth Ottawa.

He was born on April 2, 1956, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Glen O. and Frances J. (Falls) Rouland. Martin attended grade school in Garnett and the family later moved to Ottawa where he graduated from high school.

Martin was united in marriage to Donna Osladil on February 14, 1987. This union was blessed with three children.

A true outdoorsman, Martin had a passion for hunting and fishing, finding peace in nature. He dedicated many years to his work in construction and painting, showcasing his strong work ethic. Above all, Martin was a devoted family man, who loved his children and grandchildren fiercely. Though he could be stubborn at times, his big heart and genuine desire to help others were always evident. Martin's compassionate nature extended to his work as an onsite caregiver at COF, where he touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his kindness, his love for his family, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Mike Rouland.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Rouland and wife Julie; Kim Rouland and husband Raymond Garrison; and Samantha Rouland; five grandchildren, Jakob, Dawson, Raymond Jr., Claire, and Alice; and a younger brother Scott Cunningham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett. Burial will follow at Garnett Cemetery.
