Mary "Judy" Judith Daniels, age 77, passed away on October 24, 2023, at the Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas, surrounded by loved ones.
Judy was born on October 23, 1946, to Paul and Irma (Seymour) Magill in Chanute, Kansas.
She attended the Catholic school in Humboldt and then went on to the Humboldt High to graduate with the class of 1964. While attending high school she met the love of her life Dale Daniels who became her husband on June 20, 1964. This union was blessed with two children.
Judy loved life and lived it to the fullest, she always put her family before herself. Comforting anyone in need was a specialty of hers. Spending time with grandkids was a special time she always cherished. She enjoyed helping out on the farm as well as cooking delicious meals and desserts. Judy and Dale spent many evenings dancing with friends and playing cards. After their children were grown, she went to work outside the home at Yesterday's Treasures, where she enjoyed working with friends. Judy donated many hours to the Lutheran Church in Humboldt organizing and serving funeral dinners. She was passionate about helping others no matter what.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law Gerald and Norma Daniels; sisters, Jane and Ann and nephew Brian.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years; children Scott and wife Heather, Cindy and Kelly; grandchildren Chloe, Bailey, Sydney, Megan, Zach; 4 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Chuck and Jim and many other family and friends.
Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at The Venue, Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on October 30, 2023, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Humboldt, Kansas. Cremation will follow and inurnment will take place privately at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Fund and can be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US HWY 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.
