Mary Lambright

Mary Elizabeth Lambright, 80, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012. Mary was born July 13, 1932, in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of Milo and Opal (Chapman) Veley. She graduated from Humboldt High School and married Oswald "Oz" Bryant Lambright in 1950. They made their home in Humboldt where she worked as a CNA, administrator and activity director for many years at Pinecrest Nursing Home. Mr. Lambright preceded her in death March 30, 2005. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Humboldt and was currently serving as president of the American Baptist Women. She was also a member of the Cheep Chicks. SURVIVORS: Her 3 Children: Mila Baker & husband, David of Smyrna, TN, Tracey Horton & husband, Larry of Chanute, KS, and Roy Lambright & wife, Leslie of Olathe, KS 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Humboldt. Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, at a later date. MEMORIAL: First Baptist Church of Humboldt, Kansas Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, assisted the family.
