Mary Kathrine Tush

Mary Kathrine Tush, age 59, of Iola, Kansas, passed away August 9, 2023, at St. Luke's on the Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri. Mary was born July 17, 1964, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Gene Becker, Sr. and Lois (Smith) Pierson.

Mary and Ronald Tush were married December 3, 1988, Iola, Kansas. They later divorced. Mary worked for many years for Columbia Metal Products in Iola, Kansas.

Mary loved to paint, listen to music, and exploring for treasures with her metal detector. She loved her dog, Plugger, who was like family. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and infant son, Ronald Tush, Jr.

Mary is survived by daughters, Casey Tush, Iola, Kansas, Kathy (Matthew Doolittle) Tush, Neosho Falls, Kansas; grandchildren, Ean Tush, Waylon Tush, Aryana Doolittle, and one on the way; sisters, Linda Becker, Shari (Dana) Nauertc, Kimberly (Fred) Cox, Michelle (Kris) Schneweis; brothers, Gene (Nancy) Becker, Jr., Steve (Kim) Becker, Mark (Chris) Becker, Michael (Wanda) Becker; her best friend, Carl Turner; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Garnett, Kansas. Burial will follow in Garnett Cemetery, Garnett, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Mary Tush Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses. Checks should be made payable to Shari Nauertc. Memorials may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Garnett, Kansas.
