Mason Stanford, age 8, of Louisburg, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mason Kwan Stanford was born on January 7, 2015, in Olathe, Kansas, the son of Susan Marie Stanford. Mason attended school at Central Heights before moving to Louisburg, where he was in the third grade.
Mason loved attending martial arts classes at Amerikick, where he had earned his Green belt. He enjoyed playing video games and going on jeep rides with dad and motorcycle rides with papa. Mason had a wonderful sense of humor and he loved tormenting family and friends and he would even make jokes about his missing toe. Mason had many friends that he considered as family.
Mason was preceded in death by his mother, Susan; and grandmother, Sun Stanford.
He is survived by his grandfather, Billy Stanford of Princeton, Kansas; father, Travis Ross Jr. of the home; two bonus brothers, William of the home, and Travis III, of TwentyNine Palms, California; two aunts, Arran Richardson and husband, Bae Carter, and Kristin Spencer Stephens both of Ottawa, Kansas; and grandparents, Travis and Sharon Ross of Louisburg.
Memorial services for Susan and Mason Stanford will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, 219 S. Oak St. Garnett, Kansas.
