Matthew Gunnar Meek

Matthew Gunnar Meek, age 30, of Bronson, Kansas, passed away on December 22, 2021, at his residence. Gunnar was born July 28, 1991, in Chanute, Kansas, to Marie Annette Meek and Junior Tucker.

Gunnar attended school in Iola, Kansas.

Gunnar enjoyed drawing, cooking, and singing. He liked to hunt and he loved to fish at Elsmore Lake at he and his grandmother's favorite fishing spot. Gunnar was good at making people laugh and at imitating voices. When he was young, Gunnar loved to swim. He is remembered for being kind-hearted and always smiling. Gunnar was known to some as "Cracker Butt" in his younger days.

Gunnar was preceded in death by grandmother, Peggy A. Meek, and grandfather, Ronald E. Meek.

Gunnar is survived by his wife, Jessica, of the home; mother, Marie Annette Meek, Moran, Kansas; sister, Caitlyn Cleaver, Uniontown, Kansas; uncles, Ronald E. Meek (Carol), Iola, Kansas, James Meek (Jodi), LaCygne, Kansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place. A visitation to honor Gunnar's life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas.
