Michael (Mike) Garver

Michael Lee (Mike) Garver, age 52, passed away February 3, 2025, at his residence in Iola, Kansas. Michael was born January 16, 1973, in Iola, Kansas, Steven Garver and Sandra Kay (Hiser) Garver.

Michael graduated in 1991 from Iola High School. He then attended trade school for his work. He worked for his grandfather, Wayne Hiser, at Hiser Implement. Michael later worked a number of years for his father, Steven Garver, at Iola Computer Products, before starting his own construction business.

Michael enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother; brother, David Aaron Garver; and brother-in-law, Dewayne Smith.

Michael is survived by his father; sister, Vicki Smith; children, Dalton Garver, Kristin (Hayden White) Garver; and grandchildren, Izabella Cole, Taylor White.

A visitation for Michael will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.
