Michael William Muntzert, age 55, of LeRoy, Kansas, passed away July 16, 2023, at his residence. Michael was born March 11, 1968, in Iola, Kansas, to Clifford Muntzert and Barbara (Robinson) Muntzert.
Michael graduated in 1986 from Iola High School. He worked at Packer Plastics in Lawrence, Kansas, Midland Brake, Iola, Kansas, Russell Stover Candies, Iola, Kansas, and Bahr Tire, Burlington, Kansas.
Michael married Brenna Daum on September 27, 1990. They later divorced. Michael and Sarena Blum married November 11, 2018, in LeRoy, Kansas.
Michael enjoyed playing the lottery and scratch tickets. He liked fishing. Michael's grandkids were his pride and joy. He loved to mow, even mowing his neighbors' yards for fun.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susan Ingels.
Michael is survived by his wife, Sarena, of the home; children, Kody (Khrista) Daum, Kaleb Muntzert, Keri Hyden, Kolby Daum; grandchildren, Kinsley Daum, Kimbree Daum, Madilyn Hyden; brother, David (Christine) Muntzert; nephew, Dalton Muntzert; and father-in-law, Claude Blum; numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service to honor Michael's life will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to Coffey County Cancer Society, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
