Chelle Stewart

Michelle Christine Stewart, known as Chelle to most, age 43, passed away on January 17, 2025 in Iola, Kansas.

Chelle loved her children and her grand-baby, more than anything. Her favorite children were Lily, her beloved brussells griffon dog that passed away two years ago, and her youngest son, Kase. Her other children, Austyn and Ty, were jokingly known as her "trial runs." Chelle was a major daddy's girl. She also had such a passion for softball, especially sliding into the bases that left her legs all cut up. She had a deep love for all animals. Chelle enjoyed drawing, fishing, hunting, helping her family and friends, and cooking. Some of her dishes were known to be more creative, with her daughter fondly deeming them "weird."

Chelle never realized how much she meant to people, but we hope she can look down and see it now. She is no longer in any pain and is up there happy and healthy as can be, fishing with her Dad and playing softball again.

Chelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Duane and Bernice Stewart; grandmother, Patricia Johnson; and her father, John Stewart, on October 23, 2023.

She is survived by her children, Austyn (Steven) Stewart, 22, Tyler Lively, 18, and Kase Stewart, 7; granddaughter, Amaya; mother, Teresa Stewart; siblings, Tricia (Kevin) Long, Michael (Amanda) Stewart, Patrick (Misty) Stewart, Craig (Jodi) Stewart, and Brian Stewart; Grandpa Kenny; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
