Mildred G. Ludolph, age 97, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Windsor Place in Iola, Kansas. She was born on June 27, 1918, in Westphalia, Kansas, the daughter of Loren and Ruth (Hugenott) Bouse. She attended schools in Westphalia, graduating in 1936. After graduating high school, Mildred worked in the Westphalia telephone office. Mildred was united in marriage to Alfred Ludolph on April 18, 1938, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Westphalia. This union was blessed with one daughter, Linda. They lived on a farm one mile north of Westphalia, where she helped Alfred milk cows and farm. In 1957, they sold out their farming operation and moved to Garnett. Mildred worked at the Graves Drug Store, Coker's dime store, IGA and Garnett Food Mart. In 2003, Mildred sold her house on Kaw Avenue in Garnett and moved to Iola to be near family. For the last nine years, she has resided at Windsor Place in Iola. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Ruth Bouse; her husband, Alfred Ludolph; brother, Barnett Dale Bouse; niece, Virginia Ludolph; and nephew, Bernard Ludolph. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Perkins and husband Roger of Iola; three grandchildren, Bryan Perkins of Fort Scott, Kansas; Dustin Perkins of Iola; and Kortney Flores and husband Israel of Collinsville, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren, Ashley Yocham and husband Matt of Fort Scott, Morgan Flores of San Diego, California, Jhi Flores of Kansas City, Kansas, Michael Perkins of Fort Scott, Alyssa Flores of Kansas City, Kansas, Dalton Luedke of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Chase Flores of Collinsville, Oklahoma; one great granddaughter, Skye Marie Yocham of Fort Scott; one nephew, Richard Ludolph and wife Pat of Topeka, Kansas; two nieces, Rose Fry of Westphalia, Kansas and Esther Ludolph of Westphalia, Kansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Iola funeral home, Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel at 16 N. Buckeye, Iola, Kansas. On Wednesday, June 15, 2016, the family will greet friends at 1:00 PM until the Funeral services begin at 2:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, 219 S. Oak Street, Garnett, Kansas.
