Nancy Sutton

Nancy Lou Sutton, 57, of Arkansas City, Kansas, formerly of Iola, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Nancy was born December 16, 1953, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of Calvin and Nadine (Marsh) Sutton. She attended schools in Iola and graduated from Iola High School in 1971. She also attended Allen County Community College and Pittsburg State University. Nancy received her degree in social work and was residing in Arkansas City. Nancy loved animals and always had cats and dogs. SURVIVORS: Her daughter: LuAnn Girod of Hayward, CA Her mother: Nadine Sutton of Mesa, AZ 3 Sisters: Loretta & husband, Rex Ellis of Iola, KS, Marilyn & husband, Don Sharp of Iola, KS, and Sarah & husband, Richard Colvin of Keller, TX Many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Sutton. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Rev. Trudy Kenyon Anderson will officiate. INURNMENT: Highland Cemetery, Iola, KS MEMORIAL: The Nancy L.
