Randolph Scott "Oscar" Stinnett, age 41, of Yates Center, Kansas passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born August 14, 1968 at Nebraska City, Nebraska, the son of, Vance and Joannia (Wardlow) Stinnett. Oscar grew up in Skidmore, Missouri, and attended school there. He moved to the Kincaid area in 1989. He was a self employed logger. He had lived in Yates Center for the last 12 years. On June 1, 2001 he married Samantha Douglas at Miami, Oklahoma. Oscar enjoyed fishing and playing pool, but his work was his passion. He was a member of the Harvest Time Family Praise Center in Yates Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Vance, on April 9, 2009, and an infant brother, Vance, his grandparents, and a brother-in-law, Scott Houk. Oscar is survived by his wife, Samantha, of the home; a son, Ryan Stinnett and wife, Amber, of Braymer, Missouri; three daughters, Taylor Henderson of Anthony, Kansas, Courtney and Carleyann Douglas of the home; one granddaughter, Khloe Stinnett; his mother, Joannia Stinnett of Moran, Kansas; a brother, Randall Stinnett and wife, Vicki, of Kincaid, Kansas; a sister, Rebecca Houk, of Moran, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Moran. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Mildred, Kansas. The family will greet friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home in Moran. Memorial contributions may be given to the children's education fund. Condolences may be left at
