Pamela Jenkins

Pamela Lynn Jenkins, 53, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the Allen County Hospital. Pamela was born June 16, 1959, in Fairbanks, Alaska, a twin daughter of Billy C. and Karen Kay (Wheeler) Beck. She grew up in the Cherryvale, Kansas area and later received her Associate of Arts degree in business from Allen County Community College. On June 27, 1981, Pamela married Ron Jenkins in Mapleton, Kansas. They made their home in Iola where she worked in the Allen County Appraisers office for almost 20 years. Pamela was a member of the Community of Christ Church. She enjoyed bowling, camping, outdoor activities and was a "laker". She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and traveling with her husband.
