Pamela Kay Taylor, age 68, of Iola, Kansas, passed away February 9, 2025, at St. Luke's East Hospital, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Pam was born August 3, 1956, in Iola, Kansas, to Robert "Bob" Monroe Wilson and Beulah "Darlene" (Tindle) Wilson.

Pam attended Iola High School. After high school, she married Joe Garrison and they had three daughters; Shamarie Garrison (Teresa LaCrone), LaHarpe Kansas, Alishe Wilson, Iola, Kansas, and Amanda Burk (David), Osage City Kansas. They later divorced.

In 2000, Pam met Robert Taylor and they married in 2007, gaining a bonus son, Winston Taylor (Jamie), Wichita, Kansas, and they made their home in Iola, Kansas, surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Pam had many jobs she enjoyed, but eventually found her passion opening her in-home daycare that she ran for over 20 years. She retired in 2018.

In her spare time Pam enjoyed woodworking, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Pam was proceeded in death by her mother, Beulah Darlene Wilson; and her father, Robert Monroe Wilson.

Pam is survived by her husband of the home, her four children; sisters Anita Michael of Kansas City, Diana (LeRoy) Brown of Iola, Judy Stover of Iola, Glenda Armour of Chanute; 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren,and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place and there will be a private family service with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
