Patricia Sigg

Patricia Ann (Day) Sigg, 63, of Carlyle passed away on March 16, 2017 in Humboldt following a brief illness. She was born August 30, 1953 in Iola to Glen and Laura (Yocham) Day as the youngest of five. She grew up in Gas, and graduated from Iola High School in 1971 and married Richard Sigg on September 9, 1972 in Iola. He preceded her in death in 2013. Pat loved animals, gardening, sewing, costuming for the Allen County Community College Theater, and was a member of the quilting guild. She was preceded in death by Richard, her husband of 40 years, her parents, and her siblings Albert Trester, Louie Trester, and Della (Trester) Barnes. She is survived by her sister Glenda Bruner and husband Mike of Humboldt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Pat include a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 21 at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola, with a Rosary service at 7:00. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow at the Gas City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to ACARF and can be left with the funeral home.
