Paula Annette Sigler

Paula A. Sigler, 60, of La Harpe passed away Thursday, Nov 3, 2016 at her home. Paula was born in Iola, KS on Nov 22, 1955 to Russell and Lauramae (Moore) Sigler Anderson. When Paula was in the second grade her family moved to Wisconsin. Paula attended Ricks College in Idaho. She moved in 1985 to Augusta, GA and lived there until she returned to Kansas to take care of her father in 2003. Paula worked at Safe Homes, a shelter for battered women in Augusta, GA. She later taught reading at Marmaton Valley High School and worked as a caregiver in the Allen County area. Paula was a faithful member of the Iola ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed doing genealogical research. Paula is survived by her sister, Jennifer (Jerry) Wedincamp; nieces Deidra (Steve) Davis and Holly (Michael, Sr.) Shuker; nephews Allen (Mary) Wedincamp and Mark Wedincamp; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A graveside service for Paula will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, Nov 8, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery east of Mildred. Feuerborn Family Funeral Service of Iola assisted the family with arrangements.
