Ramona Driskel

Ramona Ann Driskel, 36, of Iola, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at a residence south of Gas, Kansas. Ramona was born April 15, 1973 in Wellington, Kansas, the daughter of Virgil Dean and Marilyn (Dietrich) Page, Sr. She lived her early years in Conway Springs. The family moved to Colony and then to a farm north of LaHarpe. She attended school in Colony and then Iola. She served several years in the Kansas National Guard. Ramona married David Driskel and they made their home north of LaHarpe. They were later divorced and she moved to Iola. SURVIVORS: 3 Children: Son, Tayton Driskel and daughters, Kelsey Adams and Emery Driskel all of the home Her Mother: Marilyn Page of LaHarpe, KS 2 Sisters: Arlene Gilliland & husband, Les of Colony, KS, and Debbie Pauly & husband, Charlie of Conway Springs, KS She was prededed in death by a brother, Virgil Dean Page, Jr. and her father. VISITATION: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2009, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church in Iola. The Rev. Jim Rausch will officiate. BURIAL: Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas MEMORIAL: Memorials are suggested to the Ramona Ann Driskel Memorial Fund.
