Ray Daniels

Raymond Dewayne Daniels, 89, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, at home in Dallas, Tex. He was born June 16, 1919, in Elsmore, Allen County, Kansas, to Porter and Mattie Daniels. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Fred, William, Chester, Porter, and Lowell; as well as three sisters: Margaret, Evelyn, and Clarice. Daniels lived on a family farm in Kansas in his early years. He married Mary Margaret Cook from Fort Scott, Kan., in 1941. Ray worked for General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) for 39 years, and he retired from there in 1986. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge No. 942 of Tarrant County, Texas. Survivors include: Wife, Mary of Dallas, Tex.; son, John Scott of Carrollton, Tex.; daughters Pamela Cranford of Wasilla, Alaska; and Martha Rodgers of Fort Worth, Tex.; sister Jane Cumming of Spokane, Wash.; 8 grandchildren, and11 great-grandchildren.
