Richard Dwaine Potts, age 65, passed away at the Osage Nursing Center in Osage City, Kansas on February 15, 2024.
Richard was born on July 21, 1958, in El Centro, California, to Ezra D. Potts and Dorothy M. (Boan) Potts. As a child, he moved to Kansas and attended school in Iola, until his graduation from Iola High School.
Richard is preceded in death by his stepfather, Don Stegman.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Stegman; son, Chavis Potts; daughter Cortney Curran; and one grandson.
Services for Richard are planned for Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Iola, KS. Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church of Iola and left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
