Rick Poffenbarger, age 66, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Rick was born January 7, 1955 to George and Francis (Heinrich) Poffenbarger in Iola, Kansas. Rick attended school in Iola and worked various jobs over his career.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, George and Francis Poffenbarger.
Rick is survived by his children, Nick Poffenbarger and wife, Jody, and Chrisma Hammes; brother, Roy Poffenbarger; grandchildren, Andre Poffenbarger and Alexis Poffenbarger; and numerous other family members and friends.
Services to honor the life of Rick will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola, Kansas. Family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in The Venue at the funeral home.
Memorials in honor of Rick are suggested to Wings of Warriors of Iola, Kansas and may be left with the funeral home or mailed to 1883 U.S. Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
