Robert L. Brecheisen

Robert L. Brecheisen, age 51, of Welda, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at his home. He was born on September 2, 1961, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Paul K. and Roberta Jean (Smith) Brecheisen. He grew up in the Garnett and Welda area. Robert graduated from Prairie View High School. Robert was a member of the National Guard 127th Field Artillery Unit in Ottawa, Kansas. Robert worked as a janitor at Taylor Forge in Garnett, Kansas. He enjoyed old cars and going to car shows. He kept busy tinkering, working outside with his tools. He also enjoyed going to the movies. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Brecheisen, and his sister, Sara Brecheisen. Robert is survived by one son, Arron Hayes of Greeley, Colorado; two daughters, Treza Hayes of Humboldt, Kansas; Roxann Brecheisen of Garnett, Kansas; granddaughter Eva Rose Brecheisen; his mother, Roberta Biddle of Leroy, Kansas; two brothers, Randy Brecheisen and wife Beth of San Antonio, Texas; Eddie Skaggs and wife Chris of Neosho Falls, Kansas; two sisters Sandy Perez of Humboldt, Kansas; Susan Skaggs Boling and husband Jeff of Leroy, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Garnett, Kansas. Burial will follow in the Welda Cemetery in Welda, Kansas.
