Robert Gericke

Robert Dale "Bob" Gericke, 83, of LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Sunday, June 23, 2013. Bob was born February 10, 1930 at Rural Shaw, Kansas, the son of William August and Jennie E. (Nourse) Gericke. He grew up in the Shaw and Earlton areas and served in the United States Army. He worked for Byers Quarry in Chanute before working at Midland Brake in Iola. He has resided in LaHarpe for 35 years. SURVIVORS: 1 Sister: Carrie L. Arnett & husband, Robert of LaHarpe, KS Several Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Gericke. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the Shaw Cemetery southeast of Chanute.
