Robert Michael Moyer Sr. age 76, passed away Sunday February 12, 2023 at Louisburg Healthcare in Louisburg, Kansas.
Robert was born October 13, 1946, to Conrad and Pauline (Burns) Moyer, the eldest of six children. He attended school in Welda and graduated with the class of 1964.
Robert was united in marriage to Virginia "Kay" (Bowen) on August 25, 1966, bringing three precious children to this world. Kay preceded him in death on November 2, 2007. Robert married Donna Beets on October 15, 2022.
He was employed at Rooney Trucking hauling mail for over 20 years. Robert had a true passion for gardening, there wasn't a thing he couldn't grow. He loved to go fishing and be outdoors. It was tough to keep him tied down, when first going to Louisburg Healthcare they had a difficult time keeping track of him as he liked to journey around. Spending time with his grandkids was a great love of his.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 41 years; his three brothers, Joe, Norman and Tony and daughter-in-law Ricci Moyer.
Robert is survived by his wife Donna; children Robert of Lawrence, Kansas, John of New York and Cheryl of Richmond, Kansas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday February 25, 2023 at the Garnett Cemetery. Robert's family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday February 24, 2023 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Garnett, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to Meals on Wheels and can be left in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Services. Condolences can be left for the family at www.feuerbornfuneral.com .
