Roger I. Miller, age 64, of Garnett, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Anderson County Long Term Care Facility, Garnett, Kansas. Mr. Miller was born March 4, 1943 at Garnett, Kansas, the son of the late Romanus and Dorothy (Hart) Miller. Roger attended the East Scipio School for 5 years and the Parsons State Training School for 3 years. He worked in the Tri-Co Program at Osawatomie for 35 years. Roger lived at the Tri-Co Group Home in Garnett for 10 years until his health would no longer allow it. Roger had been at the Anderson County Hospital Long Term Care since March 16, 2006. His greatest joys were his work and his family, and he enjoyed little children. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Miller of Garnett, Kansas; four sisters: Diana Shellhorn and husband Ronald of Lakewood, CO; Linda Sibley of Omaha, TX; Rosalee Bures and husband Rene of Richmond, KS; Christina Rockers and husband Bruce of Garnett, KS; three brothers: James Miller and wife Charlene of Broken Arrow, OK; Keith Miller and wife Lorrie of Garnett, KS; Robert Miller and wife Michelle of Garnett, KS; Twenty-three nieces and nephews; Twenty-one great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Romanus Miller; brother-in-law, Doug Sibley; and nephew, Randy Shellhorn. Family will be present for a Wake Service and Rosary starting at 7:00 pm on Thursday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 219 S. Oak P.O. Box 408, Garnett, KS. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 514 E. 4th Ave., Garnett with Father Brian Klingele officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Scipio. Memorials may be made to Holy Angels Building Fund or St. Rose School
