Rolland DeWayne Guder, 65 of Bronson, Kansas passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 east of Moran. Rolland was born October 19, 1951 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Everett V. and Dollene J. (Talbott) Guder. He graduated from Uniontown High School and joined the Kansas Army National Guard, where he served for two years. Following his service, he studied drafting at Pittsburg State University. He later worked for a time as a draftsman in Wichita, and then as a soil conservationist for several years for Bourbon County. He later spent his time working on the family farm. Rolland loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He collected antiques, and was always on the lookout for the next unique item. Rolland is survived by his mother, Dollene Guder of Iola, his brother Gary Guder of Moran, his sister Rhonda Hunt and Ron Helman of Iola, his niece Nicole Call and husband Ryan of Loveland, Colorado, and their son Jaggar. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Guder. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Moran. Visitation will be the evening prior on the 26th from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will follow the service in Fairview Cemetery at Mildred.
