Ronald David Gull

Ronald David Gull, age 59, of Garnett, Kansas, died on Monday, September 7, 2009, at the Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, Kansas. Ron was born on March 14, 1950, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Joseph David Gull and Goldie E. (Hale) Gull. He grew up in the area, graduating from Crest High School. He owned and operated Gull's Body Shop. He loved to hunt, play guitar with Pam, remodel homes, drinking coffee in the mornings, looking at nature, and having breakfast with Grandma. He also enjoyed boating, skiing, and playing hide and seek with his kids and grandkids. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Joseph David Gull; and brother, Wilbur Ray Gull. He is survived by his fiance Pam Scheckel; daughters Amanda Locke of Blue Mound, Kansas; Kaci Gull of Ottawa, Kansas; Kari Gull of Iola, Kansas; Britnee Gull of Ottawa, Kansas; Hannah Osler of Ottawa, Kansas; his mother, Goldie E. Gull of Garnett, Kansas; and four grandchildren; Jaci Gull, Sadie, Bryce and Rhiley. Ron is now at rest with his best friend, his dog Bo, who passed just the day before he did. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at the Kincaid Cemetery in Kincaid, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kincaid Fair Association or to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the funeral home.
