Rosalee Leonard, age 73, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at her home. She was born on September 14, 1938, in Selma, Kansas, the daughter of Paul William and Juanita Ayers. She attended school at Welda High School and graduated from Garnett High School. Rosalee was united in marriage to Clifford Milton Wells on January 21, 1958, in Anderson County, Kansas. She was a homemaker. Rosalee loved walking, and tending to flowers and gardening. She collected knick knacks. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosalee was kind and generous, she could even be stubborn, and was a very independent woman. Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford Wells; and grandson Nathan J.V. Mace in 2005. She is survived by her son, David Allen Wells; two daughters, Jenny Lee Mace and husband Clyde of Pryor Creek, Oklahoma; Deborah Rene Wells and Ross Eugene Fagg of Garnett, Kansas; brother, Larry D. Ayers of Garnett; three grandchildren, Bryan Keith Fagg and wife Angela; Rhonda R. Guernsey and husband Tim; Jason P. Mace and wife Shannon; and nine great grandchildren.
