Roy Stroud

Cleo Roy Stroud, 72, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola. Roy was born May 22, 1940, in English, Indiana, the son of Kenneth E. and Virginia C. (Brown) Stroud. He worked as a roofer for home and business repair. Roy married Judy K. Cooper April 16, 1979 in Iola. Survivors include his wife, Judy, step-children Craig Moore, Scott Moore and Joy Taylor, brother Kevin Stroud and sister Betty Treadwell both of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Stroud and Virginia Stroud Testerman, three brothers, Frank, Kenneth and Robert and a sister, Wanda. Burial has taken place in Highland Cemetery in Iola. Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, was in charge of arrangements.
