Ruby Fern Crumm

Ruby Fern Crumm, age 89, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, at her home.
She was born on October 4, 1931, in Lane, Kansas, the daughter of Claude and Violet Mae (Myers) Borton. Ruby graduated from Ottawa High School.
Ruby was united in marriage to G.M. Crumm on July 31, 1950, in Kansas City, Kansas. This union was blessed with four children, Rockney, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Cynthia.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ruby enjoyed researching genealogy of her ancestors, and shared that information with the rest of her family. She was known for her beautiful cakes that she made for special occasions. She loved her family very much and always made a loving home for us all.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, G.M. Crumm; her sister, Juanita "Winki" Claudine Snider; and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Rockney Joseph Crumm, Jennifer Joyce McCulloch, Jeffrey Brian Crumm, and Cynthia Clarice Dickey; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 22, 2021, at the Lane Cemetery in Lane, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army and left in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 219 S. Oak St., Garnett, Kansas 66032.
