Ruth Ann Barnum

Ruth Ann Barnum, age 60, of Savonburg, Kansas passed away, Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas. She was born September 11, 1948 at Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Howard and Virgie Marie (Lees) Stinson. She grew up in Missouri, graduating from high school in Louisiana, Missouri. On July 10, 1966 she was united in marriage to Richard Barnum at Shell Knob, Missouri. Ruth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Moran. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, her daughter, Leah Barnum, and grandson, Hunter Henderson. Ruth is survived by her husband Richard of Savonburg, Kansas; daughter, Yvette Edgington and husband, David, of Moran, Kansas; and son, Richard Barnum II of Savonburg, Kansas, nine grandchildren, and two sisters, Fern Adams of Louisiana, Missouri and Gladys Palmer of Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Private family services will be held.
