Scott D. Adams

Scott Douglas Adams, age 50, of Welda, Kansas passed away at his home in Welda on November 11, 2012. He was born June 10, 1962 at Garnett the son of Ralph G. and Sharon K. (Holmes) Adams. Scott grew up in Garnett attending school there. He was a lifetime resident of Anderson County, living in Garnett or Welda all of his life. Scott married Tammy Stewart on September 16, 1989 at Garnett, Kansas. This union was blessed with one son, Cody. They later divorced. Scott was a truck driver, working for himself as an owner operator until his health would no longer allow. He enjoyed all types of motorsports, but especially mud runs. He liked Chevy trucks, trap shooting and collecting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Sharon Adams. Scott is survived by his son, Cody Adams of Parker, Kansas; two brothers, Tom Adams and wife Robin of Garnett, and Todd Adams and wife Donna of Westphalia, Kansas; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
