Scott Houk

Scott Allan Houk, 42, of Moran, Kansas, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at his home. Scott was born April 2, 1968, at Fort Scott, Kansas, the son of Robert Allan "Bob" and Janet Alliene (Jackman) Houk. He grew up in Moran and graduated from Marmaton Valley High School in 1986. Scott has always made his home at Moran where he had worked for Klein Tool and later at Gates Rubber Company in Iola. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and all outdoor activities. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Taylor Houk and Dalton Houk both of Moran, Kansas His parents: Bob and Janet Houk of Moran, Kansas 1 Sister: Sheri Smith and her husband, Shane of Moran, Kansas A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by a sister, Teri Wagner in 1991, and by his grandparents, C.A. and Elaine Houk and Herman and Florence Jackman.
