Scott R. Roalson

Scott R. Roalson, age 59, of Welda, Kansas, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012, at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas. He was born July 4, 1953, at Fairmont, Minnesota, the son of Richard Berton and Merrelene June (Kunard) Roalson. Scott enjoyed the outdoors, loved spending time with family and friends, rock hunting and his dogs. He was a person that could always be counted on when a person was in need of help. Scott was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Gloria Martin of Welda, Kansas; two sons, Nathan Roalson and wife Stephanie of Maple Grove, Minnesota and Ryan Roalson of Minnesota; one brother, Mark Roalson of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota; a niece, Krystal Adams; a nephew, Kerry Roalson, all of Belle View, Nebraska; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Nicholas, and Tanner Roalson. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
