Shanna L. (Stahl) Bruner, age 44, of Neosho Falls, Kansas, died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kansas. Shanna was born April 21, 1967 at Fort Yates, North Dakota. In the fall of 1969, she came to live with her sister Lisa and parents William Joseph and Mikell Diane (McGhee) Stahl. The family made their home west of Colony, Kansas, in the Northcott area as she grew up. She graduated from LeRoy High School in 1985 and married Douglas Tressler. They had two sons, Grayden Benjamin and William Joseph, and later divorced. In fall of 1994, Shanna married Jay Bruner and they made their home at Neosho Falls. They had three children, Alyssa L., Michael J. and Karyssa L. Bruner. Shanna worked for Tri-Valley before becoming a Para Educator and bus driver for Yates Center High School. She enjoyed camping and fishing and was devoted to her children's school activities. She grew up attending the Northcott Church and attended the Neosho Falls United Methodist Church while living there. SURVIVORS: Her five children including Ben's fiancee, Kathleen Her Father: William J. Stahl of rural Colony, KS 3 Siblings: Lisa D. Sherwood & husband, Wesley of Colony, KS, Michelle Lash & husband, Mike of Wichita, KS, and Justin Stahl of Pittsburg, KS A number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mikell Diane Stahl and Granny McGhee. VISITATION & SERVICE: The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at the Northcott Church with services starting at 11:00.
