Sharon Kay Saterfiel, 66, of Colony, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at her daughter's home in Iola, surrounded by her family. Sharon was born September 9, 1949, in Topeka, Kansas. She grew up on a farm between Gas and LaHarpe and attended Iola schools. She married James Willard Bagnall, Jr. and they made their home in Iola. They divorced after 22 years of marriage. In 1988, she married Charles "C.J." Saterfiel and they made their home east of LeRoy. He died in 2004 and she moved to Colony three years ago. Sharon was a certified nurse's assistant and medication aide. She worked for the V.A. Hospital in Topeka and later provided home health. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing Bingo. Survivors include her daughter, Connie Wentland & husband, Donald of Iola, her son James Bagnall III & wife, Melody of Iola, 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Louise (Christy) White, both husbands, daughter Carla Bagnall and sister Janice White. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Iola. Inurnment will be in the Logue Cemetery east of LeRoy, Kansas, at a later date.
