Stephen Joseph Patrick Hadle

Stephen Joseph Hadle, age 82, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas.

Steve was born on January 20, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harold and Phyllis (Gordon) Hadle. Steve grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. Steve's education was accelerated, as he graduated from high school at the age of 14. He then attended Kansas University as a 15 year old. He earned a business degree from KU. Following school, Steve worked for Congoleum Carpet before he owned and operated Carpet Warehouse in Ottawa, Kansas for over 20 years. In his free time Steve loved the outdoors, he could most often be found hunting or fishing.

Steve was united in marriage to Adrianna Lopez Hadle in 2001, she survives, of the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Debby Smethers of Garnett; one granddaughter, Megan; two great grandchildren, Annora and Camden; and a host of friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Steve will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, Garnett. Memorial contributions in Steve's honor may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left in care of the funeral home.
