Timothy Abraham Marmon

Timothy Abraham Marmon, age 40, of Garnett passed away Friday, November 27, 2009 at his residence. Tim was born January 11, 1969 at Garnett, the son of Roy and Ima Jean (Robinson) Marmon. He grew up in Garnett and attended Garnett High School. He owned and operated Tim's Recycling. Tim enjoyed his work; he viewed his crane, rollback and his bobcat as part of his family. Tim loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping, riding ATV's, offroading in his Samurai, entertaining his nieces and nephews, but his greatest joy came from his beloved dogs, Maverick and Happy. Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Macklin on May 28, 1995. He is survived by his parents, Roy and Ima Jean Marmon of Garnett; three sisters, Shirley Robinson of Burlington, Kansas, Rosie Marmon of Garnett, and Goldie Kirkland and husband, Garry, of Garnett; two brothers, Mike Marmon of Garnett and Pat Marmon and wife, Laurie of Garnett; and several nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Garnett. Interment will follow in the Garnett Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Garnett. Memorial contributions may be made to help the family defray funeral expenses.
