Veda Jane Gillham, age 93, of Moran, Kansas, passed away November 9, 2022, at her residence. Veda was born April 7, 1929, in Portland, Oregon, to Orville C. Nail and Henrietta (Harold) Nail.
Veda earned a master's degree in computer science from the University of Southern California. She was a systems analyst for NASA.
Veda and Loral F. (Ben) Gillham were married May 22, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas.
Veda enjoyed music and being around small children. She was an avid reader.
Veda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben; sisters, Micki Corsette, Pat Brookshire; brother, Wayne Nail; and granddaughter, Tami Brash.
Veda is survived by daughters, Chryll Ginn, Joyce (Chris) Andersen, Gloria (Ron) Gill; grandchildren, David Hatfield, Aubrey Brash, Donald Bartsma; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service followed by burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in the Fairview Cemetery, Mildred, Kansas.
