Waltraud Gagne

Trudy Gagne, 70, of Iola, Kansas, died Friday, November 5, 2010, at the Moran Manor in Moran, Kansas. Trudy was born August 3, 1940, in Hunfeld, Germany the daughter of Ludwig and Lina Schlitzberger. She grew up in Germany. On July 22, 1960, Trudy married Joseph R. Gagne. He served in the United States Army and consequently they lived in several communities before moving to Iola in 1979 from Kentucky. She worked as a waitress in area restaurants. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2001. SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Diana Spear of Moran, Kansas, Monika Prince of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and Sandra Morton of Iola, Kansas 11 Grandchildren & 24 Great Grandchildren FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. The Chaplain Lloyd W. Houk will officiate.
