Wanda Sue Wilson, age 72, passed away on August 25, 2020, at her home in Neosho Falls, Kansas. Wanda was born on December 28, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to George Cuppy and Eva (Lee) Cuppy.
Wanda and Gary Wilson were married on January 1, 1966, in Gas, Kansas. Wanda graduated in 1965 from Iola High School, Iola, Kansas. She continued her education and became a licensed practical nurse in 1969. Wanda worked at the Allen County Hospital for ten years before moving to Wichita, Kansas, where she worked for Wesley Medical for 23 years.
Wanda was a loving wife and mother who will be missed.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Tommy Wilson; her parents; her brothers, Glen Cuppy, Richard Cuppy, and Donald Cuppy; and her two sisters, Juanita McHaley and Doris Mapes.
Wanda is survived by sons, George Wilson and his wife, Lisa, Jamesburg, New Jersey, David Wilson and his companion, Tonya, Newton; daughter, Rebecca Carney and husband, Nathon, Iola, Kansas; grandchildren, Jessica, Rachael, Cody, Jastin, Jadyn, Abigail, Gabrielle, Samantha; and great-grandchildren, Sydnee and Tanis.
A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a,m, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, in the Iola Township Cemetery east of Piqua, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Parkinson Disease Association, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
