Willard Doolittle

Willard K. "Bill" Doolittle, 74, of LaHarpe, Kansas, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his home. Bill was born May 11, 1940, in Allen County, Kansas, the son of Willard M. and Esther J. (Kelley) Doolittle. On August 28, 1964, Bill married Patricia Sue Wright and they made their home in LaHarpe. He worked for Alco Drilling, Nelson Quarries and then Gates Rubber before retiring. His wife preceded him in death October 17, 2013. SURVIVORS: 4 Sons: Lyle Scott Doolittle of Neosho Falls, KS, Jeffrey Ray Doolittle of Columbia, MO, Billy Alan Doolittle of LaHarpe, KS and Robert Eugene Doolittle of Humboldt, KS 1 Daughter: Karen LeAnn Doolittle of Bronson, KS 1 Sister: Judith Hudson of Gravois Mills, MO Numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Sue Doolittle. FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2014, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
