William Chapman

William Lyman "Billy" Chapman, Jr., 38, of LaHarpe, Kansas, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at the Allen County Regional Hospital. Billy was born June 11, 1976, in Iola, the son of William L. "Bill" and Carol Jean (Lee) Chapman. He attended high school in Iola and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1995. On April 21, 2006, Billy married Mary A. McCully in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Iola a few years before moving to LaHarpe. He worked as a welder for Precision International in Iola. "Tripp" Chapman III His Father: Bill Chapman & wife, Anna of Humboldt His Mother: Carol Higginbotham & husband, Tom of Iola 3 Siblings: Jameson Chapman of Iola, Michelle Huston of LaHarpe and Traci Stahl & husband, Carl of LaHarpe 2 Step-Siblings: Jesse Morris of Humboldt and Kasie Herman of Gardner Grandmother: Norma Chapman Tyler & husband, Ernie Black of Iola A host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matheau L. Chapman. VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
