Greg Ford, age 63, of Colony, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his home.
William Gregory Ford was born on January 29, 1960, in Cody, Wyoming, the son of William "Bill" George and Sondra (Smith) Ford. As a young boy, Greg's family moved to Las Vegas, where he grew up and graduated from Chaparral High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Greg started working as a Teamster truck driver when he was 17 years old. His 35 year career included working on many of the Casinos on the strip, the Tonopah test site, and many highway projects in the Las Vegas areas.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Crisswell on August 14, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Greg was an avid lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, and a World War II history buff. He enjoyed building WWII models and reading in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Vicki Ford; and brother, Michael Ford.
Greg is survived by his wife, Nancy Ford, of the home; and Nancy's three children, Tyler, Krysta, and Tony; mother, Sondra Ford; and brother, Jay Ford. Greg will be greatly missed by the assorted animals that shared their home with Greg, especially, Pepper, the pig.
