William Glen (Bill) Maier. Age 63, of Iola, Kansas, passed away March 26, 2023, at the Fredonia Regional Hospital, Fredonia, Kansas. Bill was born June 10, 1959, in Iola, Kansas, to John H. Maier and Norma Jean (Kunkler) Maier.
Bill graduated in 1977 from Iola High School. He worked in the oilfields and for the City of Iola.
Bill and Marilyn Lipps were married in Iola, Kansas. They had three sons together and later divorced.
Bill liked to fish and smoke or barbeque. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, John E. Maier, Robert Eugene Maier.
Bill is survived by the mother of his sons, Marilyn, Iola, Kansas; sons, Josh (Kristen) Maier, Iola, Kansas, Shane (Melissa Clay), LaHarpe, Kansas, John Maier, Iola, Kansas; and two granddaughters, Kennedy and Libby Maier, Humboldt, Kansas.
Cremation will take place and a service will be planned at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice, and may be left at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
