William Franklin Winner

William Franklin Winner, age 67, passed at Allen County Hospital on March 25,2023, with family at his side.

William was born to Seth and Mary (Welch) Winner on January 4, 1956, in Iola, Kansas, the third of five children in this marriage.

William spent his youth years and attended school in Iola, Kansas. William was united in marriage to Karen Hydorn on December 19, 1981.

William absolutely loved his wife and his boys. William was the best damn dad and grandpa around. Making memories with family was the greatest part of his life. William had many hobbies to make great use of his time. He enjoyed starting his day in the north room, sipping his coffee and smoking cigarettes, telling stories and making memories. He also enjoyed shooting and collecting guns. William loved caring for his yard a certain way and tending to his garden. Outdoors was a great place for William to enjoy sunshine, going to the cabins in Oklahoma, Toronto and Howard, Kansas. William had a passion for his music and going to concerts.

William was preceded in death by both of his parents and sister, Nancy Winner.

William is survived by his wife of 43 years of the home; his sons, Shawn (Madina) Fultz of Manhattan, Kansas, Alex (Linda) Winner of Pittsburg, Kansas, Justin(Roanna) Fultz of Wamego, Kansas, Josh Winner of Iola, Kansas, Corey Winner of Iola, Kansas; 17 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren and three brothers, Tom Winner, Steve Winner and Shawn Winner.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Donor's Choice and can be left in the care of Feuerborn Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas 66749.

Cremation will take place and services will be planned at a later date.
