Winona Lechner

Winona Rosemary "Nonie" Lechner, 82, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her home. Nonie was born January 30, 1931, in Buffalo, Kansas, the daughter of Warren Franklin and Virgie Lorene (Cloud) Bockover. She worked as a waitress in area restaurants most of her life. Survivors include one daughter, one brother Stephen Bockover, five sisters Ellen May Logan, Margie Adams, Ima Jean Burnell, Anita Gaye Hannah and Sandra Bockover, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Cremation has taken place. Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, assisted the family.
